WHO IS THE CHURCH AT HEBER SPRINGS?

1. WE ARE A CHURCH FOCUSED ON LOVING GOD AND LOVING PEOPLE

- Jesus Taught, 
                                      " Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul...and mind. This is the first and
                                      greatest commandment.  And the second is like it:  Love your neighbor as yourself"
                                                                                        (Matthew 22:37-39) 

We have chosen to make living out this commandment on of our highest priorities.  We Strive to love God in two ways: by worshiping Him and by obeying Him.  We strive to love people by focusing on their needs.  Our very name, " The Church" describes our intent to become an active representation of the life of Jesus through us.  Our motto says it plainly,
                      
          " Don't Go To Church, BE the church."

We believe true Christianity is best lived outside the walls of a traditional church structure.  In essence, we believe in using the church to build people.

2. WE ARE COMMITTED TO THE PERSONAL GROWTH OF EVERY MEMBER

- The Church at Heber Springs believes that every Christ Follower is a minister.  We are committed to helping each person discover that special purpose God has created them for, and helping them to grow in that discovery.  We are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment that will foster growth in one personal walk with God and in one's ability to minister and serve in the place in which God places them.  Our pattern of relationship- based Christian community through LIFE groups makes quality personal discipleship possible.

3. WE ARE A CHURCH FOCUSED ON REACHING PEOPLE WITH THE TRUTH OF JESUS CHRIST

- People are searching for the reality of God's Love for them.. We believe it is our mission to this world to share that truth and to introduce them to this awesome relationship in Jesus Christ by any means possible.  Our corporate gatherings on Sundays are designed to bridge the gap between the Christ-follower and those seeking to know more.

4. WE ARE A CHURCH FOCUSED ON BEING RELEVANT IN OUR METHODS

- You will find at all of our gatherings, whether the corporate gatherings on Sundays or in our LIFE groups, we strive to make certain everything we do is relevant to today's life.  Our worship is contemporary and real, our teaching is LIFE teaching and applicable to today's issues.  Our passion is real and transparent.
